Lamjung earthquake 2021
On 18 May 2021, an earthquake of magnitude ML 5.8 occurred in Lamjung district around Bhulbhule at 05:42 AM local time.  The epicenter of the earthquake lies in the western rim of the Gorkha earthquake rupture which is about 30 km west of Barpak, the epicenter of the Gorkha earthquake (Figure 2). The mechanism of this earthquake is similar to the mechanism of the Gorkha earthquake. About 100 aftershocks of this earthquake have been recorded with one ML 5.3 and 4 events above or equal to ML 4.0, that triggered the seismic alert and were immediately published on the NEMRC webpage ...
